Europeana

Return to Sender, a project funded by Europeana and developed in collaboration with the University of Coventry and Solent University, aims to explore WW1 postcards in the Europeana 1914-1918 collection and the collections of contributing archives from across Europe.

Let's Go Europeana!, the site that allows you to explore millions of cultural artefacts from around the world, has a new name.  OMNIA, Latin for 'all things', will still provide access to Europeana's 48 million records, allowing users to explore art, photography, film, music, and text in a variety of innovative ways.  However, it will be further developed to include other resources making it truly a site of 'all things'.

Europeana is a single access point to millions of books, paintings, films, museum objects and archival records that have been digitised throughout Europe. It is an authoritative source of information coming from European cultural and scientific institutions.  (Europeana)
